Patient data from acute myeloid leukemia specimens

This dataset contains clinical and genomic data from patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML). It includes attributes such as age at diagnosis, gender, prior malignancy history, treatment details (chemotherapy, radiation), genetic mutations (FLT3-ITD, NPM1), cytogenetic findings (FAB classification, karyotype), and RNA sequencing data. The dataset also incorporates information on relapse, transformation, and vital status, alongside details on specimen acquisition and diagnosis. The data is used for defining global filters to limit browsing and for comparing sample groups within a larger analysis.

Long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) have been extensively studied for their regulatory roles in gene expression; however, relatively little is known about those specifically associated with super-enhancers (SEs)—genomic elements crucial for maintaining cell identity and function. This study profiles acute...

Current anticancer therapies cannot eliminate all cancer cells, which hijack normal arginine methylation as a means to promote their maintenance via unknown mechanisms. Here we show that targeting protein arginine N-methyltransferase 9 (PRMT9), whose activities are elevated in blasts and leukemia st...

De novo purine synthesis is required to maintain tumor growth; however, its impact on therapy resistance remains unclear. Here, through a dynamic BH3-priming-based CRISPR screen, we found that deletion of ADSS2, which encodes the adenylosuccinate synthase 2 enzyme essential for adenosine monophospha...

Relevant molecular tools for treatment stratification of patients ≥65 years with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) are lacking. We combined clinical data with targeted DNA- and full RNA-sequencing of 182 intensively and palliatively treated patients to predict complete remission (CR) and survival in AML ...

Combination therapy is preferred over single-targeted monotherapies for cancer treatment due to its efficiency and safety. However, identifying effective drug combinations costs time and resources. We propose a method for identifying potential drug combinations by bipartite network modelling of pati...
