CRESST Experiment

This dataset collection comprises experimental data from the CRESST direct dark matter search, operated deep underground at Gran Sasso with cryogenic detectors at about 15 mK. It contains event data from CRESST-II and CRESST-III runs, including measurements from detector modules such as TUM40, LISE, Detector A, pulse-shape studies, and lithium aluminate setups. The data record energy deposited by particle interactions as heat signals, and for scintillating targets also include light-yield information that helps distinguish particle types and suppress background. The collection is intended for studying rare nuclear recoil events that could be caused by elastic scattering of dark matter particles off detector nuclei.

Direct detection experiments have established the most stringent constraints on potential interactions between particle candidates for relic, thermal dark matter and Standard Model particles. To surpass current exclusion limits a new generation of experiments is being developed. The upcoming upgrade...
