Multiple Indicator Cluster Surveys (MICS)

The Multiple Indicator Cluster Surveys (MICS) dataset is a UNICEF household survey data programme established in 1995 that provides internationally comparable data on the status and well-being of children, adolescents, and their families. Collected across more than 120 countries, it contains indicators spanning health, education, child protection, water and sanitation, nutrition, gender equality, and related social conditions. The dataset supports survey-based analysis at national and cross-country levels and is used to monitor key development indicators, inform policy and programmes, improve understanding of children’s lives, and guide reporting and dissemination on child and family well-being.
